Obituary

Andres B. Ontiveros was born to parents Candelario Bustamante and Elvira Ontiveros in Santa Maria Del Oro Durango, Mexico, on November 30th, 1963. He passed into the care of our Lord on January 28th, 2026.

Andres came to the United States in his early 20s, He lived in New Hampshire, California and Texas eventually settling in Fort Morgan in 1990. Andres married his loving wife, Felipa, in June 1991. December of 92 his first daughter Sylvia was born. Come May of 95, his second daughter, Andrea, joined the family. Andres adored his daughters and did everything for them.

Andres came from a musically talented family and spent some of his younger years performing in bands. He played the guitar, piano, and sang Hispanic music of all types. Outside of his musical talent, Andres spent 10 years working for Cargill before he began his Truck Driver Career. He loved to be on the road and drove all over the states. He then decided to drive locally to be closer to home. Most recently employed by the Dairy Farmers of America.

In his free time, Andres enjoyed playing Chess, Pool, video games and watching movies or concerts. He liked to hang out and talk or watch sports with both his sons-in-law. He also loved being outside. He enjoyed taking trips to go hiking, explore new things and take in beautiful scenery with his family. He appreciated Gods creation. He was truly the happiest running after his grandsons who he loved more than anything.

Andres was a very kind and special person, always helping where he could and was very much a give his shirt off his back kind of person. He will be greatly missed by many.

Andres is survived by his wife, Felipa, his daughters, Sylvia and husband Jaime Palomar, Andrea and husband Jose Angel Becerra, his grandchildren, Jose Angel Becerra III and Jasiel  Andres Becerra, his brothers, Braulio and Elias, and his sisters, Jana, Manuela, Consuelo, and many nieces and nephews.

Andres is preceded in death by his parents, Elvira and Candelario, his brother, Claudio, and his sisters, Andrea, Gloria and Maria.

Andrés llegó a Estados Unidos a principios de sus veinte años. Vivió en New Hampshire, California y Texas, estableciéndose finalmente en Fort Morgan en 1990. Andrés se casó con su querida esposa, Felipa, en junio de 1991. En diciembre del 92 nació su primera hija, Sylvia. En mayo del 95, su segunda hija, Andrea. Andrés adoraba a sus hijas y hacía todo por ellas.

Andrés provenía de una familia con talento musical y pasó parte de su juventud tocando en bandas. Tocaba la guitarra, el piano y cantaba música hispana de todo tipo. Fuera de su talento musical, Andrés trabajó 10 años para Cargill antes de comenzar su carrera como Trokero. Le encantaba estar en la carretera y conducía por todo el país. Despues decidió conducir por el local para estar más cerca de casa. Más recientemente, empleado por Dairy Farmers de America.

En su tiempo libre, Andres disfrutaba jugar al ajedrez, billar, videojuegos y viendo películas o conciertos. Le gustaba convivir o ver deportes con sus dos yernos. También le encantaba estar en la naturaleza. Le gustaba hacer excursiones, explorar cosas nuevas y disfrutar de paisajes hermosos con su familia. Apreciaba la creación de Dios. Era realmente el más feliz corriendo tras sus nietos, a quienes amaba más que a nada.

Andrés era una persona muy amable y especial, siempre ayudaba en lo que podía y caminaba la milla extra por los demas. Lo Extrañaremos mucho.

Andrés deja en vida a su esposa, Felipa, a sus hijas, Sylvia y su esposo Jaime Palomar, Andrea y su marido José Ángel Becerra, a sus nietos, José Ángel Becerra III y Jasiel Andrés Becerra, a sus hermanos Braulio y Elías, y a sus hermanas Jana, Manuela, Consuelo, y todos sus sobrinas y sobrinos.

Andrés fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Elvira y Candelario, su hermano Claudio y sus hermanas, Andrea, Gloria y María.
