IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Chelsea Renea
Barth
May 9, 1988 – February 24, 2024
Chelsea Renae Barth was born May 9th, 1988 to parents Wesley Davis and Sheila Haun in Lodi, California. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 24th, 2024.
Chelsea became engaged to Dustin Barth on February 14th,2020, and remained with her throughout her struggles with illness. He battled by her side throughout many hospitalizations and cared for her until the moment of her passing. Chelsea loved dearly her two children from her first marriage, Adelyn and Harper Waterfield.
Chelsea lost her father at the age of three, but she gained a caring stepfather, Scott Young, who helped to raise her alongside her mother Sheila. She grew up in Colorado and attended Mountain View High School in Loveland, where she graduated in 2006. For college she attended the University of Missouri before settling back in Greeley, Colorado.
Chelsea grew up playing soccer and loved being outside and cherished her memories of attending her youth group at Crossroads Church in Loveland. In high school she was in choir, and her love for music led her to become the lead singer in a band called Japan 4. She had a particular fondness for rock and metal, and while that was most of what she listened to, she often took inspiration from all genres when making her own music. For work, Chelsea was a service advisor at Camping World, ending her career due to her struggles with illness.
Despite all of her struggles, Chelsea was an amazing mother who was known by all for her bright spirit. Her favorite color was teal, and her favorite television show was "90 Day Fiancé". She was proud of the fact that she had been asked to be a bridesmaid in her little brother Casey's wedding. Whenever she was able, she could be found enjoying the outdoors by camping, riding jet skis, and boating.
Chelsea is survived by her fiancé, Dustin Barth, her mother, Sheila Young, her stepfather, Scott Young, her children, Adelyn and Harper Waterfield, her brother, Casey Young, her sisters-in-law, Rachel and Jacquelyn Barth, her paternal grandmother Geneva Burkhart, and her maternal grandmother Carol Bushaw.
Chelsea is preceded in death by her father, Henry Westley Davis, her paternal grandfather Gary Davis, and her maternal grandfather William Haun. A memorial service for Chelsea is scheduled for March 15th at 11:00 AM at the Foundations Church in Loveland, Colorado.
