George Milton Miller of Johnstown, Colorado, was born on April 30th, 1958 to parents George and Carmen Miller. George passed away on September 13th, 2026.

     After graduating from Jefferson High School in 1976, George moved between Fort Collins and Johnstown before finally settling in Johnstown permanently in 2012. George served as Pastor and Councilor for the Fort Collins jail and also worked as an auctioneer but spent the majority of his life working with his hands in construction. George was a man of faith and a true jack of all trades.

     In his younger years George loved to hunt, fish and camp. Spending time with his sister was important to him. He also maintained an extensive bottle collection that he built up with his brother. They loved to go out bottle digging trying to find unique pieces. George loved gospel music both old and new and enjoyed singing in the church choir or playing his guitar. George will be fondly remembered for his signature encouragement he would offer: “Just keep doing the best that you can do.”

     George is survived by his brother, Shawn (Teri) Miller of New Mexico, his sister, Carolyn (Mike) Anderson of Brush, his nephew, Taylor Miller of New Mexico, his nieces, Amanda Green of Wiggins, Mendelle Graff of Fort Morgan, Kaddie Gordon of Las Vegas, Jolene Anderson of Brush, Johanna Miller-Martinez of New Mexico, along with 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.

     George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Carmen Miller, his grandparents, Nellie and George Miller along with Esther and James Coleman, and his aunt, Marilyn Miller.
