Margarita Chavez was born to parents Antonio and Sophia on February 22nd, 1951 in El Salvador. She passed away on August 23rd, 2026.

     Margarita married Jose Chavez in September of 2013 and the two remained together until her passing. 

     Margarita came to the United States in 1979, living in Los Angeles, California for a time before settling with her family in Colorado in 1993. Margarita worked as a dry cleaner for most of her life. She enjoyed attending church, going to the Assembly of God and the Church of Nazareth. She enjoyed making food and also enjoyed eating it, and was known to particularly enjoy coffee and sweets. She could often be found listening to Christian music. Margarita especially loved to go fishing at the lake. 

     Margarita is survived by her husband Jose S., her sons, Jose G., Jose A., Angel, and Mario, her daughters, Rosa and Maria, her brothers, Alfredo, Pedro, and Jose Carlos, her sisters, Cristina, Elida, and Mausima, along with 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

     Margarita is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Sophia and her son, Carlos.
