Margarita M. Rodarte passed away peacefully in her sleep into the care of our Lord on the morning of June 20th, 2024.

Margarita was born to parents Jose and Juanita Martinez on September 22, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas, where she remained until 1952 before settling in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Margarita married A. Willie Rodarte on June 8th, 1952 in Colorado, and they remained together until his passing.

Margarita worked for the Fort Morgan School District for 30 years as a custodian. She attended St. Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. She loved to go to Central City and gamble, along with visiting flea markets in Denver. She was an amazing gardener and always had beautiful flowers growing outside of her home.Her favorite kind of music was Spanish music, especially the artists Antonio Aguilar and Cornelio Reyna.

Margarita is preceded in death by her husband, A. Willie Rodarte, her parents, Jose and Juanita Martinez, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, her grandson, Adam Rodarte, and her great granddaughter, Johnnyce Garcia.

Margarita is survived by her son, Willie Rodarte Jr., her daughters, Marlene E. Rodarte, Sally G. Armenta, and Cynthia M. Rodarte, her sister, Lupe Martinez, her grandchildren, Joshua Rodarte, Teresa Rodarte, Julian Parras, Estevan Rodarte, Jaybian Parras, Stephanie Garcia, and 13 great grandchildren.
