Mary Louise Williams was born to Henry R. Hansen and Helen B. Hansen on July 3rd,  1936 in Brush, Colorado.

Mary lived in Morgan County all of her life, attending Caldwell Grade School and Brush High School. She first met her future husband, Wesley E. Williams as a young child in front of the Williams Grocery Store and post office, where his father was the postmaster. The Hansen family would often drive over to the grocery store, and Mary would often come along and play with Wesley while her parents traded. After he returned from Germany, where he lived with his parents as a dependent during World War II, Wesley made a point to take every opportunity to be at the store whenever Mary was set to come, and after talking to her over the course of many visits, she finally agreed to go on a date with him. They were eventually married on August 7th, 1953, eloping in Cheyenne, Wyoming in the company of Wesley's Mother, Gladys E. Williams.

Mary was a homemaker for most of her life caring for her two children, Duane Williams and Coleen Thompson. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and survived to meet her eldest great-grandchild, Sebastian Thompson; she always lit up whenever he was brought up in conversation. In her spare time, Mary took pride in her beautiful garden, growing her favorite flowers to include lilacs, irises, and peonies.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Wesley E. Williams, her son Duane, her daughter Coleen, her brother Edward (wife Joann), her grandchildren Nathaniel and Daniel, and her Great-Grandchildren Sebastian and Victoria.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry R. Hansen and Helen B. Hansen and her brothers Lloyd, Robert, and Walter.
