Morris Walto Fisher was born February 14th, 1945 to parents Maurice and Evelyn Fisher in North Carolina. Morris passed away on December 28th, 2024.

Morris proudly served his country during his time with the US Army. From 1967 to 1969, Morris earned his National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Service Bars, and his Sharpshooter Marksmanship Designation Badge for the M-14 rifle system. Morris was a proud Baptist Christian. His vocation for most of his life was as a painter for construction. Morris loved fishing, barbecuing, gardening, motorcycles and camping. He had a real green thumb, and could get anything to grow. He also had a real soft spot for his grandchildren. Morris took care of his wife, Marcella, for 57 years and their family of six children gave him 20 grandchildren for him to enjoy.

Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Evelyn, and his sister, Shery Kay.

Morris is survived by his spouse, Marcella, his sons, Michael (Heather), Mitchell (Ann), Matthew (Tara), his daughters, Michelle, Mardelle (Mike), Marlene, his brothers, Gary and Ronnie, his sisters, Renee and Judy, his 20 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
