Nancy Kathleen Kirvin was born December 8th, 1948, to parents Kendall and Lucille Lofton in Las Cruces, New Mexico. While attending the Las Cruces Highschool Nancy met the love of her life Francis Darrell Kirvin and, on March 10th, 1966, during her junior year of high school, they were married while on a beautiful elopement to Juarez, Mexico. Once back in the US they were officially married on July 30th of the same year in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Following their marriage, Darrell graduated and began work while Nancy returned to school, graduating the next year in 1967. In 1968 Nancy and Darrell moved to Houston, Texas and remained there for twenty-one years, starting a family. They would make their final move to Aurora, Colorado in 1989. It was here that, after her children were all grown up, Nancy pursued and obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from a local community college. Following her husband's passing in 2022, Nancy moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado to live with her daughter, passing away peacefully on February 17th, 2024, surrounded by her caring family in her final moments.

Nancy first and foremost had a passion for helping people, and this was not only exhibited in her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, but in how she loved her family. Her transition from caring for her family as a homemaker into caring for others as a CNA came naturally, and Nancy flourished in the profession. She would work providing care and comfort to many disabled patients. Away from work, Nancy enjoyed taking on a variety of crafting projects, from sewing costumes and clothing to beading jewelry like bracelets and necklaces. Nancy had an impressive appetite for reading, working through a book a day for her entire retirement. She loved listening to music, especially The Beatles and Josh Groban.

Nancy and Darrell loved going to the movies together, and one of her all-time favorite movies was Captain Newman, M.D. She was guaranteed to seek out films starring actresses such as Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, and Julia Roberts. The couple also had a fondness for Hawaii. During one of their  visits they decided it would be the location of the third wedding in their marriage, renewing their vows in 2003.

Nancy is survived and dearly missed by her son, Jeff Kirvin, her daughter, Heather LoGalbo, her brothers, Kendall Hylette Lofton Jr., Wesley Frank Lofton, and her grandchildren, Jade Naperola, Devin LoGalbo, Maya LoGalbo, Ariel Rousseau, Kiki Brandt, and Venya Brandt.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Kendall and Lucille Lofton, and her husband, Francis Darrell Kirvin.
