Noel Jones was born to parents Alan and Evelyn Best on December 15th, 1947 in Ringwood, Australia. He passed away peacefully with his wife Shirley by his side on October 9th, 2025.

When Noel and Shirley married they found love, companionship and laughter. Through that marriage his circle of family grew to include many wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved children and was thankful for the love, warmth and connection they shared in life's later chapters.

Noel traveled worldwide on a number of difficult career paths before settling down in the United States. He was known to be a racecar driver, and drove cars in Australia, Tasmania and other surrounding areas. Everyone he met during his travels was met with a smile and a "good-day mate!". He could often be found fishing in his free time.

Noel is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Evelyn Best.

Noel is survived by his wife, Shirley Ballard-Jones, his sister, Sandra Best, and many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
