Rick Romero was born March 24, 1960 to parents Frederico and Mary
Romero in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Rick lived in Fort Morgan all of his life, going to school and later
working as a roofer/contractor. Rick loved spending time outdoors, he
was a gifted wood carver. His passion and hard work showed through
the quality and artistry of all of his projects. He was a man who loved
the outdoors, and his favorite pastimes took place outside. He really
enjoyed going on fishing trips, both with his family members and on
his own. One of his passion projects was his third-gen F-Body IROC
Camaro, and he could be found wrenching away often. He was a
passionate gardener and was known for his green thumb. He also
loved to play his guitar, and was particularly fond of songs by Pink
Floyd, Matchbox 20, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Chrystal (Daniel) Carrera; his
brother, Andy Romero; his sister, Mable Torres; his nephews, Mike
Romero, Nathaniel Romero, and David Romero; and his
grandchildren, Kali Carrera, Damien Carrera, and Aurora Carrera.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Frederico (Mary) Romero;
and his brothers, Dave (Libby) Romero, and Fred Romero.
