Ronald Alan Peterson was born February 3rd, 1948 to parents Maurice and Edith Peterson in Brush, Colorado. Ronald passed away on August 25th, 2025.

Ron completed grades 1 through 11 in Snyder, Colorado, but graduated 12th grade from Brush, Colorado. After working on farms during his youth, he got his Bachelor's in Accounting from Colorado State University. Ron made sports mats in Fort Collins after graduating from Colorado State University. He then co-owned an auto parts store with his brother Gary for a couple of years. Ron also acted as a caretaker for his parents before their passing, exhibiting how he truly loved his family.

Ron was a big sports fan and could be found playing baseball, basketball, as well as bowling. He followed Colorado sports teams along with many other state teams, but his favorites were the Colorado Avalanche. His best friend was his 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Edith Peterson and his nephews Cameron Alexander, Mike Alexander and Kevin George.

Ron is survived by his siblings, Patricia Gleason, Linnea (Harold) Wilson, Sharon (BIll) George, Gary Peterson and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service is to be held at The Carroll Building, 418 Edison Street in Brush, Colorado on September 6 starting at 12:30 pm Please join us for lunch and sharing memories. The family kindly requests casual attire.
