Sherry was born on January 22nd, 1948 in Elkhart, Kansas to Chester and Alice (Terrel) Newlin. Sherry was called home to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2024. Sherry attended school in Brush, Colorado where she grew up and later attended Morgan Community College. Sherry worked as a waitress most of her life, and also as a caregiver. Sherry enjoyed writing poetry, collecting heart rocks, doing sudoku puzzles, watching her favorite shows, and spending time with her family. Sherry especially loved to sing gospel music, as she was a very devoted Christian.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Anita Webster, her granddaughters, Cassandra Smith and Kayla Hietbrink, her great-grandsons, Hunter, Huston, Haxton, and Kayson of Fort Morgan and Brush, CO, her brother, Jim (Patti) Newlin of Graham, WA, her sister, Sally Clark of Ovid, CO, as well as many other loving friends and family members.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Alice Newlin, her son, Scott Burrell, her stepson, Richard Burrell, her daughter, Denice Webster, her sister, Patricia Renzelman, her brother, Robert Newlin and a grandson by marriage, Zachary Smith.

Our beloved Mother, Grandma, Gigi, and Jammie, will forever be missed.
