IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tristan Hodgson
Teter
October 30, 1996 – May 29, 2024
Tristan Hodgson Teter was tragically taken from his family and friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at age 27.
Tristan was born to Jeff Teter and Stacy Hodgson on October 30, 1996 at East Morgan County Hospital. He grew up in both Fort Collins and Brush, Colorado. In his youth he loved the outdoors, his friends, shooting, hunting and playing sports. He played football and wrestled for Brush High School, going to State in wrestling during his sophomore and senior years. He met the love of his life and future wife, Monti, while he was in high school. Ever since Tristan was young, one of his dreams was to have a family with a son named Thaddeus.
Tristan married Monti Rae Page on October 20, 2018. In 2020, they welcomed their first son, Thatcher (not Thaddeus). In 2022, their second son, Moss Teter, was born and completed their beautiful family. He was a wonderful father to his two sons, and he loved being a dad.
Tristan was loved by all, he had a generous spirit and never met a stranger. If you needed help, Tristan was there. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandmothers, Grandma Carol (Davis) and Grandma (Jeanette) Teter. He is survived by his wife Monti and sons, Thatcher (age 4) and Moss (age 2). He is also survived by his father Jeff Teter (Sheri), his mother Stacy Hodgson, and his brother Lane Teter, as well as his loving extended family including his mother-in- law Danielle Page, father-in- law Chip Storer and brother-in-law Damien Storer, grandpa Mel Teter, grandparents, grandpa and grandma Gary and Sue Hodgson, great aunt Cathy Davis, cousin Erin Curtiss, Aunt Jeri Hodgson, cousins Mae and Charles Fleuter, Aunt Stacey (Shaun) Garrett, cousins Spencer (Jodi) Garrett & Shauna (Bobby) Landon.
A celebration of life is set to take place at the Overland Trail Museum located at 110 Overland Trail in Sterling, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for contributions to help pay for final expenses and help support Monti and the boys during this difficult time. Donations may be sent to The Teter Family, C/O Rowanoak Mortuary, (231 South Sherman Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado).
