Obituary

Wayne Kenneth Kaiser, 68, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Wayne was born on May 1, 1956, in Osmond, Nebraska, to Elmer and Merle Kaiser. He grew up in Osmond and graduated from Osmond High School in 1974. After graduation, Wayne met the love of his life, Kathy Kinney. They were married and together raised three daughters, Elise, Jennifer, and Randa, with whom he shared many cherished memories. In 1981, Wayne and Kathy moved to Fort Morgan, where Wayne began his career at Hamlin Electric. He worked there for 13 years before embarking on a path as a self-employed business owner, which later led him to a successful career in the oil field and Western Sugar as an electrician. Along the way, Wayne was well known as a skilled appliance repairman and was always the guy who can fix anything.  Wayne's passion for racing was a major part of his life. He enjoyed countless hours competing on the dirt track in a race car, earning several trophies in recognition of his skill and determination. He was a quiet and kind man with the most selfless heart, and a dedication to helping others. Those who knew him will forever remember him as a treasured friend, a gentle soul, and a loving husband, father, and papa. Among his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, and most importantly, spending time with his daughters and grandbabies, whom he adored. He brought joy, love, and laughter to all those around him and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy; their three daughters, Elise (Nick), Jennifer (Casey), and Randa; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Karen and RaJean (Wade), and his brothers, Bill (Bev) and Randy (Mary). Additionally, he is survived by his brothers-
in-law, David (Denise) and Mike (Pam), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Elmer Kaiser; his parents-in-law, Robert and Virginia Kinney; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Kinney and Ralph Goetsch.

A celebration of life service will be held on January 3rd at 11 am at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. The family asks that donations be made in Wayne's memory to a charity of your choice. Wayne's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
